Our daily activities can be hectic bringing about all sorts of disturbances to our precious bodies; we have to live with enduring different kinds of pains. Women are hard workers who have to deal with everyday work from a day job in different fields to house chores and bearing of kids. While we are gifted with all that multitasking, we are also in the end left with bad consequences that are brought about by the lack of rest emotionally and physically which might lead to lack self-neglect let alone the husband for the married ones. We suffer from common things like cracked hands, heartaches, headaches, backaches, arthritis, fatigue, Insomnia and much more that can cause a disturbance in our ability to deliver. Here are some insights learned from different people that might help you deal with that nuisance without having to depend on drugs or doctors prescriptions all the time while some can even get rid of the problem permanently. Those who were brought up by grannies will certainly recognize other methods which worked very well and continually seeing people still following the trends when one does not work for you the other might work.

HEADACHES
*Light a piece of white string and bring it close to the nose to inhale the smoke. I have seen a piece of tissue being used as well. Maybe check on your water intake as well as that might do the trick as well. Our bodies use different ways to let us know what they lack the most.
*Another fast remedy and immediate relief is to put your feet into hot water but be sure is hot in a comfortable way. Spirits of camphor applied to the folded handkerchief to the back of the head and neck give a nice relief-DA Boshoff
* check your refrigerator you will probably come across that pack of frozen veggies. Put them on the back neck for about 5minutes or an ice pack if you keep them. If none of those are available simply use a washcloth by putting it in ice cold water and place it on your neck repeatedly, it should do the trick as well. (Good for migraines)
*If you are in love with essential oils as they work great for other purposes such as hair and skin if you have not tried them maybe try using them for that headache as well. Inhaling peppermint oil or lavender oil in boiling water can you give you the relief you need.
CRACKED HANDS
*Mix equal amounts of pure glycerine, methylated spirit, and milk. Shake well every time before applying to the hands-Helena Moolman
* Personally because I work with tools most times I find myself with rough chipped hard hands but my immediate relief is the mixture of olive oil and sugar. Rub them for 5-10minutes to give softer hands. Repeat several times a week. I am a number 1 fan of olive oil from my face to the whole body for a beautiful smooth skin.
*Though can be very uncomfortable try using Vaseline and slip those hands in socks and leave them overnight on daily basis. But remember the best remedy is to always use the ointment/Vaseline all the time after working out those hands in hash soaps. Keep a hand lotion in the handbag all the time to use after every bathroom use.
BACKACHES
*Draw parsley like tea, drink a cupful day and evening. It is also good for kidneys- Nakie Maree
*Drink lewensessens 3 times a day
*Eat a lot of onions everyday
*Lying down on your stomach for at least 30minutes also relieves harsh pain of all day standing on your feet
FATIGUE
*A table spoon of honey in a glass of luke-warm water before bedtime.
SWOLLEN FEET
*10 Minutes of soaking those feet in hot water mixed with vinegar give a relief.
INSOMNIA
*Warm milk with a dash of honey taken daily calms and gives peaceful sleep
*Enough sex, not just around of it or a good workout
*Yoga
ARTHRITIS
*Vinegar with Celery –
½ Grapefruit
1 Orange
1 Lemon
2 Stalks Celery
4 Cups water
1 Tbsp Epsom salts
1 Tbsp Vinegar
Cut ingredients with peelings into chunks and simmer in water uncovered for an hour. Press softened ingredients through a jelly bag and then add vinegar and Epsom salts. Drink 1 glass of water morning and evening to which ¼ cup of this mixture has been added. Takes about a month before a relief can be felt.
*For more quicker or immediate results try this –
2 Egg Whites
½ Cup Turpentine
½ Cup Vinegar
¼ Cup Olive Oil
Mix all ingredients and use right away by gently massaging aching joints then wipe off when done. If you experience skin irritation then you can leave the turpentine out of the mixture on your next treat.
*A glass of water with 2 tsps of vinegar before each meal 3 times a day
*Or 1tsp honey and 1tsp vinegar mixed in that glass of water taken morning and evening
Be careful not to overdo the drinking of vinegar as it might cause other ailments.
After a long day of hectic routine, that body and skin require to be relaxed and given the treat to rejuvenate. Take a relaxing bath mixed with Epsom salts, it also opens those pours and allows your body to be completely moisturized because a moisturized skin is a happier good looking skin. If you are a married woman, a good fulfilling making out will put you to good rest and if you have a snoring partner to complete your day with a peaceful sleep just pour small drops of olive oil in each nostril to help with that irritating sometimes scary sound.
